Raw Materials Process

Our source of raw materials comes from local and international suppliers of recovered paper. These recovered papers are sorted to ensure all contraries and other materials unsuited for paper making are discarded.

Sorted papers are loaded, weighed and conveyed to the High Consistency Pulper (HCP) which converts it to fibrous, cellulose mass. Chemicals are added to aid in swelling the fibers and detaching the ink from the wall of the fiber.

De-Inking Process

The De-inking Plant processes pulp into desired quality and further ensures the absence of contaminants in preparation for papermaking.

Non-fibrous materials are removed by a combination of cleaning, screening, flotation deinking and washing. Cleaners and screens eliminate various contaminants such as paper clips, staple wires and adhesives.

At the flotation cell, ink is separated from the fiber. With the introduction of air and soap, bubbles form and rise to the surface along with the ink that adjeres to them. These are subsequently rejected from the process by controlling the flotation cell level.

Chemicals are used to attain required brightness of pulp.

Paper Machine Process

Bleached pulp is converted to quality paper at the paper machines. Fibers are conditioned to give good stock formation and stronger bonding. Dyestuff and other additives are homogenously mixed at the machine chest. The mixed stock passes through several stages of cleaners to eliminate small sizes of dirt, sand and the like.

At the headbox, cleaned stock is spread across the width of the forming section with minimum turbulence. Methods of dewatering such as draining, pressing and drying by steam-heated dryers are also used.

The dried paper enters the calender to even out the caliper of paper and smoothen its surface. The paper is then reeled on a spool and transfered to the unwind stand for cutting and rewinding.

  Finishing and Shipping

The "Parent" roll is trimmed into customer ordered sizes. Important data such as basis weight, size, diameter, linear length, grade and weight are included in the roll labels to properly identify paper rolls. TAPPI or IFRA barcodes are used for faster traceability and identification.

The rolls are then sent to the roll wrapping machine for weighing, wrapping and labeling. At the warehouse, the finished products are prepared for ultimate delivery to the customers.
